Affiliate Disclosure

In 2015 the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) produced new regulations regarding the way websites handle promotion, sponsorship and paid advertising. Also, some rules for website owners who use affiliate links in their content, like us. These were made to further improve the readers experience online, and to protect them by giving them full transparency to the way each website is operating.

Generally speaking, the content here at FishFinderHub may often contain affiliate links, this means there is a possibility we may get compensated or earn a small commission when a purchase via our blog is made. But this comes at no extra cost, fee or charge to you the readers.

At FishFinderHub, we strive to create product reviews that cover the requirements of our readers first, with trustworthy and honestly written content. Each product featured in our Fish Finder reviews, our best lists, or other editorial content has been chosen by either our editors or our team of product testers and reviewers. We are not paid to cover the products we write about.

Sponsored content along with paid reviews or ‘gift vs review’ type business proposals are quickly declined and rejected. This isn’t how we create our content. Our products are chosen naturally and honestly, and reviewed in the same way, and our content is planned without outside influences.

Simply put, if you buy a product through a link on our blog, we could earn an affiliate commission. This is common practice applied by many giant websites, such as Tom’s Guide and Tech Radar.

Affiliate Links: Explained

How it works: If you click a link in our post, that sends you to an affiliate company, it will be recorded that you were sent by FishFinderHub. If you then decide to purchase, we potentially earn a small affiliate commission that supports our blog, and allows us to keep improving our site and our content. This process does not change price you pay, it is simply a small token for us playing our part in the process.

We only work with the most trusted companies in the world, hence our cooperation with companies like Amazon.

fishfinderhub.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties including, but not limited to, amazon.com. Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports our blog with no added cost to you.

Additionally, there is no incentive for us to choose certain products or be biased, as we do not accept paid posts, sponsors or free products in return for reviews.  So there is no benefit or advantage in choosing the products, only giving our readers the best and most honest choice. You can trust that the products we have chosen to recommend have passed a valid checking criterion, imposed by either myself or one of my team.

Paid or Sponsored Content

We do not accept any form of articles, content or products in return for financial gain. All content is originally written by me or one of my team members.

Guest Posting Content

We do not allow guest posting on FishFinderHub in any shape or form. This is for numerous reasons, but mainly to protect our readers from false content or content with an immoral motive behind it. Content originally created in-house by me or my team, can be trusted and I can be safe in the knowledge that it has been written with our readers in mind. Content from outside sources cannot be vetted in the same way, it is for this reason we reject it.

Free Products for a Review

We do not accept any form of gifts, testimonials, or false reviews for money type business propositions. All our products have either been bought, tried, tested with our own time and money, and are totally unbiased, with no brand or company having preference in any case, in any article.

Conclusion

Ultimately our readers are #1 and will always come first when it comes to making content; this is why I created this blog. You can feel at ease that myself as the site owner will not subject my readers to low level marketing techniques or risky trades online. Everything within FishFinderHub is fully transparent and operating within the guidelines and regulations of the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).
